October 2025 Newsletter

Dear School Community,

As the leaves begin to change and the crisp air of October settles in, I want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful start we've had to the school year and share some important updates for the month ahead.

Thank You to Our Incredible Staff A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff who have worked tirelessly to create welcoming, engaging, and safe learning environments for all students. Your passion and professionalism continue to inspire.

Thank You to Our Amazing Students To our students—thank you for your enthusiasm, resilience, and commitment to learning. You've brought energy and positivity into our halls, and it's been a joy to see you settling into your routines and classrooms.

Meet the Teacher It was a pleasure to connect with so many families during our Meet the Teacher event. As your principal, I’m grateful for the opportunity to begin building relationships with our school community. Your support and involvement make all the difference.

Thank You to Our Volunteers A special shout-out to the volunteers who have already stepped in to support our school—whether in classrooms, at events, or behind the scenes. Your time and generosity are deeply appreciated.

Turn Around Day Came and went with many changes and transitions. It was a valuable time for reflection and adjustment as we continue to support student success.

Safety Drills – October 3rd On Friday, October 3rd during the last period, we will be practicing a series of safety drills. These exercises are essential to ensure everyone knows what to do in the event of an emergency. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and attention.

School Council Meeting – October 6th Our first School Council meeting will be held on Monday, October 6th. We encourage all interested parents and guardians to attend—your voice matters, and we welcome your ideas and input.

Looking Ahead October promises to be another exciting month as staff and students continue to settle into their classrooms and routines. Let’s keep the momentum going and make this fall season one of growth, connection, and celebration.

Warm regards;

Mrs. Newburn
